Give your child the mental edge.

Mental health is vital in helping our children thrive. They need social-emotional support now more than ever before; it’s not uncommon for kids to find difficulty self-regulating and understanding difficult emotions. When children can’t regulate their emotions, it spills over into their ability to focus, exhibit resilience, and foster positive relationships with family and peers.

Research shows that mindfulness-based practices help regulate stress and anxiety by strengthening resilience and emotional regulation.

what is mindfulness?

In a nutshell, mindfulness is the practice of facing the present moment without judgement. When children practice mindfulness, they are equipped with the tools needed to cope with common stressors like school, relationships, communication challenges, and any curve balls they encounter on a daily basis.

the mental edge project - kids

Backed by years of research and science-based practices, the Mental Edge project gives children the techniques and tools they need for a happier, easier life.

themes

Each month, participants are presented with a new theme and related tools and techniques that put the child in control of their own emotional regulation. The mindfulness methods they learn are aimed at helping them address and alleviate stressors on their own.

Live Meetings

We meet virtually every month, introducing new themes to practice and engage with exercises and activities.

Daily Practice

Children are given fun, educational activities that help them internalize the mindset tools they received in the lessons. Awareness-based games promote neuroplasticity around focus, compassion, and self-control.
